XP
You will generally receive XP within a week of the the last Court played.
You will only receive XP if you have signed up to the boards and have an active account on here.
Players who "Crew/Monster" for the game will also receive XP, to spend on their characters If/When they start playing with an active character.
Further more, you will only be mailed XP if you have handed in your character sheet at the end of the night.
Crew/Monster
If you feel like a break from your regular character, but you don't want to miss the next game, let me know Two weeks before the game is due and i may be able to wedge you in with the Plot Crowbar as an NPC for the night.
If you're new to all this Vampire LRP malarkey, one great way of finding out what its like is to play as an NPC for the night as well, it means you get a crafted (by the Ref Team) NPC, some serious plot interaction, and the full support of everyone who's in the court because they won't know if you're a one shot or a proper character and it keeps everyone on their toes!
Arrival before court..
Please try to turn up a little early so you have time to read your downtime reports and your influence rumours (they do play apart in the game after all...) and make sure you get me to sign things off before the game starts because then you can use them right away...
If a game Times In for players at 630, im usually at the venue for 5pm, giving everyone access to me for an hour and a half.
Turning up late and not getting things signed off means you cannot use them that night (even though you've paid the XP for it) and the stuff must be signed off at the end of the evening, or during a game break (if we have intense evenings and we need a short break to recover).
You cannot use any gear, abilities, attributes, disciplines, rituals etc until it has been signed of by a Ref or an A-Ref (who always asks the Ref any ways)
Character Sheets..
After every other game i may be required to take your sheets home with me, so please keep a track of any things you may need for downtime such as your Influence ranks and Resources values.
Badges..
Anyone with badges, please feel free to type them up much neater than i can write, make sure the writing is large and in a clear basic font.
Only things that are clearly visible to anyone using no disciplines should be written on there, or things you feel Should be represented, ie Charming Voice, Beautiful Appearance, Ugly as Sin, Clan Status (what ever clan), etc etc.
Bestial Traits
If you're a Gangrel or you've a low humanity/self control, you Will gain Bestial Traits, things like Scaly Skin, Animal Eyes, Permanent Fangs, Snout, Tail, Gills and so on.
These things are NOT Perks/Merits, they are an exhibition of the Beast in your soul breaking free, and they MUST be phys-repped or Roleplayed.
Gangrel gain these for every 3 points of humanity they lose (but they also have one to start with, so even humanity 8-10 will have a Bestial Trait, and other vampires can gain them once they reach humanity 6 and below.
Specialities..
If you have 4 dots in an attribute or ability, please make sure you have selected your Speciality.
Failure to select specialities at Cha-Gen means that you will not be able to select any specialities until you purchase your 5th dot in Attributes or Abilities.
You only gain Specialities for Attributes (Physical, Social & Mental) and Abilities (Talents, Skills & Knowledges).
Character Death...
When a character dies you have the standard Cha gen (ie 30 freebies in total not 15) AND Half of your previous characters newly earned XP.
